Bring authentic Scottish music and dancing to your production. Ceilidh Experience are a professional Scottish ceilidh band for film, TV and live events, based in Scotland but available worldwide.
While we’re best known as a high-energy rock ceilidh band, we also perform traditional ceilidh music when required — ideal for film and television productions looking for an authentic, period-appropriate sound.
We’ve performed and recorded for a wide range of productions, including:
• TV dramas – (We’re in a new Channel 4 drama to be aired in 2026 – watch this space!)
• Documentaries and reality TV – (Our very own Nawaz Haq featured in an episode of Channel 4’s ‘Four in a Bed’ (Season 16), and the band gave a performance for the show).
• Live studio chat shows and televised events – (Norman performed live on The Politics Show hosted by Andrew Neil, again on Channel 4)
Our musicians are experienced in working on set and in studio environments. We can provide:

Norman’s original compositions have also been featured on television and film soundtrack. This film showcases his piece “Gellatly’s March,” written for bagpipes, string quartet, and choir.
